This document regulates the conditions of purchase of the various tours of Machu Picchu, Cusco and Peru in the web portal viajar.com.pe.
Generalities
This document has the character of a contract.
By taking the services of viajar.com.pe, the Client accepts the terms and conditions described herein.
No external agent to viajar.com.pe, has the ability to modify, restrict or extend the terms of this contract.
Actors
VIAJAR.COM.PE: Brand and virtual platform of MACHUPICCHU TERRA S.R.L. Travel and Tourism Agency, authorized by the Ministry of Culture of Peru with registration MA0473.
CLIENT: Natural or juridical person that takes the diverse tourist services of Viajar.com.pe.
Service Conditions
Viajar.com.pe offers various tours to different destinations in Peru including Cusco and Machu Picchu.
Viajar.com.pe, will deploy its best efforts to keep you informed and to attend the Client's requirements with the highest security and efficiency possible.
The virtual platform of viajar.com.pe offers several means of contact to maintain an adequate communication with the Client.
Purchase Process
The client can make use of the virtual platform of viajar.com.pe from anywhere in the world to make a reservation via internet.
To make the purchase of any of our services, it is imperative that the Client manages an email, to which the reservation form, payment invoices, and other communication concerning your reservation will arrive. In addition, the e-mail is the main means to clarify questions and solve any conflict that may arise.
To complete the purchase process, the Client must fill in the information of the participants of the service, in addition to the contact information. The Client must do it with the information that appears in his identification document with which he will make the trip, for example: Passport, DNI, Carnet de Extranjería (Peruvian residents only).
Once the reservation is sent, the information will be verified and a payment order will be generated. Once the Client has made the payment for the total amount issued, a reservation confirmation will be sent, from this moment our cancellation policies apply.
In case of train tickets, the tickets will be sent to your email.
In case of tourist services, you will only have to show up at the meeting place with the other tourists on the day of your visit.
About the Tours
Once the Client's payment is confirmed, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided by the Client, with the details of the touristic service purchased.
Once the Client has received the email, he/she must verify that the information (date of visit, names, ID number, etc.) is correct.
The tours offered on our web platform cover the entire Peruvian territory, highlighting the various tours of Cusco and Machu Picchu.
All tours are organized by professionals in the tourism sector. All of them have their own policies of changes and cancellations that we detail in this document.
About Changes and Modifications of Data
Viajar.com.pe only makes changes and/or modifications of the tours and tourist services offered in our website.
The change and/or modification of a tour can only be done once. After a change has been made, no more modifications can be made.
The transfer of a tour from the client to another user proceeds with the same penalties mentioned above, depending on the time of anticipation with which the transfer request is submitted.
The data entered erroneously by Viajar.com.pe may be rectified at no cost and only at the client's request.
Viajar.com.pe is not responsible for the data entered erroneously by the Client, these can be rectified by paying a penalty.
The changes and/or modifications of data are attended from Monday to Saturday during office hours (from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm GTM - 05:00).

About Changes and Modifications of tours that include Machu Picchu
All tours that include Machu Picchu (including multi-day treks) do not allow changes of any kind. It is recommended to arrange the date and details of the tour in the best way before booking the tour.
About Cancellations and Refunds
Viajar.com.pe will only make cancellations and refunds of tours and tourist services purchased on our platform.
Cancellation policies are specified in all our services.
The refund will be made by the same means of payment and could take up to a month depending on the bank.
To request the cancellation of the tour you must send an email to info@machupicchuterra.com.
Confidentiality of Information
Viajar.com.pe assures the confidentiality of the data entered by the Client at the moment of making the reservation, of the data provided in the payment transaction and of the documents sent to our e-mail. These will be used only and exclusively for the purchase of tickets, train tickets and other services where this information is needed.
Release of Liability
Viajar.com.pe is not responsible if the information provided by the client is not the same as the passport or identity document.
Viajar.com.pe has no control over weather events, natural disasters or social conflicts that may prevent your arrival at the starting point of the tour. In these situations, changes and cancellations are governed by our Terms and Conditions.
Viajar.com.pe is not responsible for the deterioration, partial or total loss of your luggage.
Viajar.com.pe is not responsible for the transit of the Client inside the archaeological sites visited, which must be protected and cared for at all times.
Viajar.com.pe is not responsible for the Client's tardiness during the tour.
The Client who is not able to make the tour and does not communicate in a timely manner, or does not carry out any procedure, will lose all rights to the service, and will not be reimbursed by Viajar.com.pe.
