Itinerary

On a pleasant day, our team will greet you and pick you up from your hotel around 10:00 a.m. to begin your adventure in our tourist transport.
We’ll head towards the town of Ferreñafe, about 45 minutes away. From there, we continue to the district of Pitipo, an additional hour-long journey.
Once we arrive in Pitipo, we’ll prepare for a short 25-30 minute hike to reach the first natural lagoon of Mayascón.
During the walk, you'll have the chance to spot birds typical of Peru's northern dry forest—so have your camera ready!
At the destination, you’ll find 9 pools arranged in steps. Reaching the highest ones may be a bit more challenging, but not impossible. Please follow the safety instructions from our guide.
Don’t forget—you can get into the lagoons for a swim! If you don’t know how to swim, don’t worry: there are shallow lagoons where you can still enjoy the water.
After a relaxing time in the pools, we’ll begin the return journey to Chiclayo. On the way, we’ll stop at a specific location with restaurants where you can enjoy a delicious lunch (lunch not included).
After lunch, we’ll continue back to Chiclayo, where our team will warmly say goodbye as they drop you off at your hotel around 5:00 p.m.
