Our tour starts with a departure from Tarapoto heading to the village of San Antonio de Cumbaza, from where we take a hike of approximately two hours to the Huacamaillo waterfall, crossing rivers and exploring the jungle. Upon arrival, you can enjoy its natural pools and its 20-meter waterfall; after spending some time in this beautiful place, we return along the same route until the experience concludes in the city.
If you are in Tarapoto and looking for an adventure surrounded by nature, this hike to a waterfall hidden in the jungle might be just what you need—a journey that starts with a short trip outside the city and ends in a place where the sound of water and the peaceful surroundings make it all worthwhile.
The hike is very easy, with a mostly flat route, without steep ups or downs. Physical effort will be minimal during your trip.
