This new tour allows a special tour of Machu Picchu. In addition to having a more comfortable trip that allows you to have a totally different experience. The Machu Picchu Tour in the afternoon starts at 07:30 in the morning towards Aguas Calientes, that is, three hours later than the conventional tour, so we will not have to get up early and therefore we will have a more comfortable trip. In addition, the tour of the Inca citadel in the afternoon has less tourist presence and allows a better tour and more time to contemplate Inca sites. The return train will leave later, so we will also have time to get to know the little streets of Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu Pueblo, before starting the return trip.

What will you do

All travelers will be able to have breakfast independently, but taking into account that the pick-up will start at 7:00 in the morning. The collection period can take about 30 minutes. After that we start the trip to the Ollantaytambo train station. Travel time from there will be less than 2 hours. In Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu Pueblo we will be at 12:11 in the morning. The entrance tickets to the Inca citadel have the schedule of 2:00 p.m., so we will have a moderate time for lunch. As in all our tours we will have ecological buses to go up and down, after the tour. During the visit to Machu Picchu, we will know the main attractions of the Inca citadel. Once we finish the tour we start with the return. The return service will be bimodal, it is estimated to arrive in Cusco at 10:30 p.m.

Itinerary

We start the activities at 7:00 in the morning with the pick up of passengers from their hotel.
After picking up all our equipment, we will leave in the direction of the PeruRail bus station to take the bimodal service.
In a PeruRail bus, we will leave for Ollantaytambo at 7:30 am.
From Ollantaytambo we will depart by train towards Machu Picchu Pueblo or Aguas Calientes, where we will arrive at 12:11 pm.
To get to the archaeological site of Machu Picchu we will have both round trip bus tickets.
Special discount option for buffet lunch at Tinkuy restaurant (not included in the tour, but you have the special option to purchase this service for an extra price).
On the other hand, we can have lunch in the place we want and then ascend to the archaeological site.
We will enter Machu Picchu from 2:00 p.m. together with our guide.
During the tour we will be able to see the main platforms, the houses, the main temples and the Plaza Pisonay, up to the Sacred Rock.
The tour has an average duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Upon descending we will have a brief time to shop for souvenirs or visit the craft market.
We must be there 30 minutes before the departure time of our train.
The return service is bimodal, that is, we will start with a train trip to Ollantaytambo and then we will continue with a bus trip to Cusco.
In Cusco we will board another transport that will take us to our hotels.
