What will you do

Itinerary

Day 1

  • The tour will start early. All those who have their reservation must wait ready.
  • The pick up from the hotel is from 7:30 in the morning, in order to leave early.
  • The first destination, once we have all the members of the trip, is the viewpoint of Taray.
  • The Sacred Valley of the Incas has a different climate than Cusco and we will notice this in our second destination Pisac.
  • After visiting all this ancient citadel that even has a cemetery and temples to the main deities. It's time to return to the minivan and take a trip to Urubamba.
  • In Urubamba we can all have lunch at the Tunupa. The service is buffet and you can choose multiple options based on the best products from Cusco and Peru.
  • After a relevant rest, it will be time to make the Ollantaytambo trip.
  • In Ollantaytambo, after taking a tour of the archaeological site, the arrival of the train is expected to start the trip to Machu Picchu Pueblo.

Day 2

  • This day will start early and according to the hotel's arrangement, we can have breakfast there. The itinerary indicates leaving before 6:30 am.
  • To get to Machu Picchu we will all board the ecological buses.
  • After validating our reservation we enter with our guide.
  • The tour lasts approximately 3 hours.
  • Once the tour is done and when leaving we can board the return buses to Aguas Calientes.
  • Aguas Calientes is the name given to Machu Picchu Pueblo to avoid confusion.
  • The station is very close to the craft market.
  • The return train will be scheduled for 4:22 pm. However, it is recommended that all travelers arrive 30 minutes before.
  • The train trip can end in Ollantaytambo or Cusco. This will depend on availability. In any case, you will arrive in Cusco after 8:30 pm.
