Pachacamac is located in the Lurín district. Our trip there will start from the Miraflores district. Before that, we will have a brief tour of one of the tourist districts of Lima, we are referring to the Barranco district. In Barranco we can take a brief walk through its main attractions such as the Bridge of Sighs and the Library, which is located near a large number of colonial mansions. After that, it will be time to begin the trip to the archaeological site of Pachacamac.

In Pachacamac we will learn more about the importance of this site that was inherited by several cultures. From the Lima Culture, passing through the Waris and finally reaching the domain of the Incas. This place was important because it housed one of the greatest deities. The domain of this deity was so great that any culture that arrived or appropriated this territory continued to maintain respect. That is why among its most important temples you can see different architectural styles typical of the cultures that dominated these places. In this place you can enter the site museum and observe different remains found. It will also be possible to appreciate the carved wooden image that probably refers to Pachacamac.

Once you are on board our transportation, along with the rest of the tourists, we will begin the trip. The first destination we will see will be Barranco. This district has many buildings from the colonial era. For this reason, it is one of the districts that receives the most tourists throughout the year. We will visit the main temples such as the Temple of the Adobites, the old Temple of Pachacamac, the Temple of the Sun and the Acllahuasi, which is also called the Temple of the Moon.
