What will you do

Once the tour is confirmed, we will contact you to start the pick-up from the hotels. For this, all passengers and tourists must wait ready. Pick-up will begin at 07:00 in the morning. This activity can take 30 minutes at most. After that, we take a short trip towards the port of Puno. There our transport or fast boat will be waiting for us. For all of the above, it will be important that everyone waits ready at the agreed time.

Once at the lake we will begin the trip. The first destination will be the island of Uros. It is a place that maintains an ancestral tradition. It involves the creation of floating islands and other similar elements such as boats and homes. All this thanks to the abundant presence of the cattail, the main plant used to prepare the aforementioned. Likewise, we will learn more about their culture and how they live from fishing and tourism.

At the end of the visit, it is time to make the trip to Taquile, a natural island. The trip will be less than 2 hours. Once we are on the shores, we will have to take a short walk. We will enter this community, where we will also learn more about the local population and have beautiful views of Titicaca. Before returning and taking the respective walks, we will enjoy an exquisite lunch. The tour will end once we arrive at our hotels in Puno.

Itinerary

We start with the pick-up from the hotels from 07:10 in the morning.
The exact pick-up time will be coordinated before stopping by the hotels.
Once we are all in the group. The short trip is made to the port of Puno.
At the port, we will board our speed boat. The appropriate time for this activity will be at 07:45 hours.
Travel time on these modern boats is shorter.
The first destination to visit is the Uros Island. Travel time will be less than 20 minutes.
During the visit to these artificial islands, we will learn more about this entire place.
We will learn more about the culture and traditions of the residents of the Uros Island.
After this cultural experience, we return to the speed boat.
It will be time to visit the Island of Taquile. It is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes away.
During the trip we will see beautiful landscapes and contemplate the extension of the entire Lake Titicaca.
Once in Taquile it is time to take a short walk of between 20 to 30 minutes.
This in order to reach the population core of this community.
There we will meet part of the population and have an exquisite lunch.
After that, some families will give us information about their culture and ways of life.
We will have free time to walk and see the viewpoints of Lake Titicaca.
At the viewpoints we can take excellent photographs with the blue background of both the sky and the lake.
The return will be from Taquile to the Port of Puno.
Once in Puno, we will return to our hotels. Where the tour will end.
